Black Rhinos registered their sixth win after thrashing new boys, White Rhinos, 24-8 in a rugby league game at the Wharic Park on Saturday.

Black Rhinos are second on the log with only one loss to leaders, Gaborone Hogs. White Rhinos are winless in six games and anchor the standings. Despite their lowly position, they gave Black Rhinos a tough time on Saturday.

They fought gallantly throughout the game and took the lead in the 20th minute through a penalty from scrum half, Kago Motlhalamme. Black Rhinos retaliated with a try from Thato Maifala that was then converted by fly half Tshoganetso 'Shakes' Katse.  Black Rhinos' second centre, Matlhogonolo Mohutsiwa registered a second try and Shakes once again converted to increase the lead. Black Rhinos continued their dominance and attack by maintaining possession in their opponents' half. The constant possession paid off with Shakes scoring a penalty.
