BCA trains cricket teenagers

The Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) will hold training sessions for boys and girls tomorrow in Gaborone. The sessions at the BCA Oval will be for Under-13, Under-15 and Under-19 players.

The BCA chief executive officer, Girish Ramakrishana told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the sessions will be open to all cricket players in the targeted age range. He said the training is meant to polish players for up-coming tournaments.

“We want to help those who are already in the squads be it Under 13, 15, or 19 to have all necessary knowledge and skills that can help them perform well during the various tournaments, and since the schools are closed, we are taking advantage of that, since we are able to get an impressive number of players,” stated Ramakrishna.
