BBA dismiss Flames' election excuse

The Botswana Basketball Association (BBA) is expected to come down hard on Francistown side, Flames for failing to honour last weekend's league matches at the University of Botswana (UB) basketball courts.

Flames who are fifth on the log missed two games against the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) and Cadets.

The two clubs were awarded walkovers and points. BBA public relations officer, Thulaganyo Jankey said they have requested the Francistown side to apologise and state why it failed to honour the fixtures.
