MOGODITSHANE: Tshepo Bathai has ousted Million Masumbika as president of the Botswana Karate Association (BOKA). The new BOKA boss beat Masumbika by 12 votes to six in elections held on Saturday.

Three contestants were nominated for the position, but David Mathe was disqualified because no club seconded his nomination. Only two members were retained from the previous committee.

They are vice president for administration Lere Basupang and vice secretary general Kemmonye Seletamotse who were unopposed. Andrew Dobolo was also unopposed for the position of public relations officer.
