Bakwadi excels in Dubai Premier League

Botswana karate sensation, Ofentse Cash Bakwadi continued flying the Botswana flag high when he finished 11th at the just ended World Karate Federation (WKF) Dubai Premier League K1.

Bakwadi was competing under the men’s individual kata where he faced off against 117 competitors. He was tied for 11th place with Roozbeh Roshani of Iran.

Spain won the men’s kata through Damian Quintero, with Ali Sofuoglu of Turkey and Abolfazl Shahrjerdi of Iran finishing in second and third spots respectively.
