The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) affiliates agreed to shelve the new constitution and instead use the old document when it held elections over the weekend. The new constitution has already been approved by the Registrar of Societies.

It seems the new constitution might not see the light of the day as allegations are rife that somebody took it to the Registrar without the consent of the affiliates.

BAA public relations officer, Ipolokeng Ramatshaba told Mmegi Sport yesterday that the new committee has been given a mandate to review the document.
