The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has called an emergency meeting following the suspension of the association’s officer, Holiday Matibini over allegations of fraud involving P500,000.

BAA public relations officer, Roland Masalila said Matibini was suspended on September 15 over unexplained purchase orders.

Now the association has called a meeting on Saturday with its affiliates to discuss the burning matter. The Botswana National Sport Commission (BNSC) has been informed and a forensic audit is being carried out.
