BAA admits �undercooking� women�s team

The Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) has admitted paying less attention to the national women’s team that is competing at the 2017 IAAF World Championships, starting today in London. The team last competed during the BAA National Championships held in May in Francistown.

Amantle Montsho, Lydia Jele, Christina Botlogetswe, Galefele Moroko, Oarabile Babolai and Goitseone Seleka will represent the country in London, but appear undercooked after months without competitive races. 

The World Championships athletics team manager, Moses Raphutshe admitted to Mmegi Sport yesterday that the women’s team did not get enough preparations.
