Township Rollers’ striker, Francis Afriyie could face the music at his new club following last weekend’s incident in which he left the bench before the end of the match.

Afriyie stormed out of the technical bench midway through the second half when he realised that he would be an unused substitute in the team’s 1-0 win over Prisons XI last Sunday.

The Ghanaian striker, cut a frustrated figure on the bench as the team’s recruit, Bame Morwalela was given a run ahead of him. Speaking to Mmegi Sport on Wednesday, Rollers’ public relations officer, Bafana Pheto was coy in his response. He said the club awaits a technical team’s report before any action can be taken. He however admitted that the player could be reprimanded if found guilty.
