About 50 Tennis Juniors Complete Training Camp

FRANCISTOWN: The Francistown School of Tennis on Friday completed a three-day tennis camp, which was used as part of the preparations for the Midlands Junior Open scheduled for August 24-26.

The camp was held at the Francistown Tennis Club courts.

The founder and director of the school, Dominique Raquin said about 50 children aged between four and 14 were part of the three-day camp. The Midlands Junior Open will feature three age categories: the under 10, 12 and 14. The main purpose of the junior tournament in Zimbabwe is to groom tennis players from a young age.
