BNF to mark Israel Apartheid Week

The Botswana National Front (BNF) through its Information and Publicity Secretariat and the Foreign Affairs Desk, will this year mark the the 11th Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) campaign which will take place from 2-8 March, 2015.

The international Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) campaign takes place annually around the globe in over 250 cities.

 The BNF, with the other organisations in the UDC, is amongst the over 60 Southern African organisations that endorsed and participated in the IAW campaign last year. The party is  this year endorsing and participating in IAW 2015. The party will do the following as part of activities to mark the IAW:

l Release a statement of support for the campaign prior to IAW as was done last year.


l Our Branches/ Regions will be expected to take part in these activities.

l The party, together with others under the UDC will be holding events related to IAW.  There will also be distribution of posters, flyers and DVDs.

l The BNF has also been invited to be represented on the IAW Southern Africa Team that is responsible for running the IAW campaign. The representatives will be drawn from National organisations,   South Africa regional teams and university organizations.

For an update and promotion of the Israeli Apartheid Week campaign activities the nation is advised to follow the IAW South Africa accounts using the hastag #IsraeliApartheidWeek.
