Zim man fined P7,500 for Omang

FRANCISTOWN: A Zimbabwean national, Thabani Zorari Mahubaba, was yesterday convicted and fined P7,500 for unlawful possession of data under cyber and computer related crimes.

Mahubaba had pleaded guilty to the offence and admitted that the data found in his computer was intended for use for unlawful purposes.

Principal Magistrate Thebeetsile Molalu said though the convict had shown remorse by pleading guilty, "the seriousness of the offence cannot be ignored".
