Young leaders decry exploitation

LOBATSE: Some young leaders have decried exploitation by some local organisations where they have offered their services voluntarily. The young leaders met this week at the Cumberland Hotel to discuss several boiling issues.

Discussing the highly debated phenomena at the ongoing Fourth Friedrich Ebert Foundation Leadership Training Programme, some young leaders decried that companies take advantage of unemployed youths by exploiting their services.

One of the attendees, Charity Fire said there are a lot of barriers in volunteerism locally, and until they get recognised as volunteers they will continue to be exploited.
