President Mokgweetsi Masisi has spoken out for the first time on his axing of former Director General of Directorate of Intelligence and Security, Colonel Isaac Kgosi.

Responding to a question from one of the attendants after his lecture at Oxford University on Wednesday night, Masisi confidently confirmed that he indeed fired Kgosi but he did not expressly state the reasons why he did it.

“Yes I can confirm. I did fire the Director General of the Intelligence Agency, for good reasons,” he said.
