When technology fails, justice is the casualty

FRANCISTOWN: Technology may have simplified a lot of things, but when there are no platforms available in the country to support such technology, there may be disastrous consequences.

This is what emerged in court yesterday in a case in which the state alleges that two Zimbabwean men, Tendai Gwatu and Godfrey Marecha, were allegedly found in possession of P125,923.80 which is suspected to be proceeds of stolen property.

The state alleges that the accused were found in possession of 14 blue debit cards belonging to Bank Corp in the United States of America (USA) all bearing the same card number (47849100105) and expiring on the same date, which they allegedly used to electronically withdraw money  in Botswana.
