Water Plus Loses Appeal With Costs

According to the background of the case, both Water Plus and the Xwiskurusa Trust were interested in mining a quarry at Okhwa. The land board allocated the land in question to Xwiskurusa Trust and rejected Water Plus' application. The land board's resolution on the matter reads: "The Board has resolved to reject your application as the area has already been leased to Xwiskurusa Trust.
"The Wildlife Management Area has already been allocated to the Department of Wildlife and National Parks and the quarry to Xwiskurusa Trust."
