FRANCISTOWN: Murder accused Denver Bright, 29, was granted conditional bail by Chief Magistrate Game Mooketsi last week.

Bright, also known as Virus in social circles, landed in hot soup after he allegedly murdered Kabelo ‘Magomora' Mantswe on December 24, 2023 in Block One. He was ordered to bind himself with P2,000 as well as bring two Batswana sureties who shall each bind themselves with the same amount as part of his bail conditions.

Bright was also ordered not to interfere with potential witnesses and that he should attend court as and when required to do so and report himself at Kutlwano police station fortnightly on Fridays. When Bright first appeared in court for arraignment, his head was bandaged which led to assumptions that he had fought with Mantswe before the latter died.
