Three women who are victims of the public sector strike of 2011 came together to form a cleaning services company.

The trio are some of the civil servants who were dismissed from work in June 2011 for participating in what was termed the mother of all strikes.

Post dismissal from work, many workers faced a bleak future before government took a decision to re-instate some of them. Many workers were left in the lurch, having to find means to survive and pay debts after going for months without pay. It was no different for these three. In an interview, one of the co-founders of 2 Care Holdings, 59-year-old Lame Bogatsu said they had to do something to survive, as it was really difficult.
