UNESCO holds two-day ASPnet workshop

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in collaboration with the Namibian National Commission for UNESCO held a two-day training workshop at Yarona Lodge this week.

Participants were drawn from six primary schools, four junior schools, two senior secondary schools, two brigades and six principal education officers from six regions.

According to Mmanane Kelebemang of the Botswana National Commission for UNESCO at the Ministry of Education and Skills Development, the objective of the workshop was to motivate and empower participants to contribute towards more effective participation and involvement of their institutions in Associated Schools Project Network (ASPnet) activities.
