Ugly Scene Checked At Molefhabangwe Rally

The ceasefire agreement between former MP Robert Molefhabangwe and Botsalo Ntuane, who were contesting the Gaborone West South constituency, ended on the eve of polling day when the former verbally attacked and sought to assault the latter at a rally.

Molefhabangwe was an independent candidate while Ntuane, who has won the constituency, was a Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) candidate.

Before he was expelled from the Botswana National Front (BNF), Molefhabangwe, Ntuane and the Botswana Congress Party's (BCP) Abby Chengeta made a gentleman's agreement to refrain from attacking one another.
