UB student dies in road mishap

Tutume Station Commander Vusimusi Jorowe said that the police were investigating the accident that happened at 10 in the morning by Ntondola Lands about 10 kilometres from Nshakashongwe.
"A mini-bus carrying 16 passengers was driving from Maitengwe to Gaborone when its driver seems to have lost control and overturned leaving several people injured. The driver had a special permit to carry people from Maitengwe to Gaborone," he said. He said that the mini-bus was overloaded; it had 18 passengers instead of 16. However, four passengers suffered serious injuries, 14 suffered minor injurues and one fatality.
