The University of Botswana (UB)'s entire Student Representative Council (SRC) has been suspended for allegedly having been instigators in class boycotts that took place in September.

He said SRC members were escorted off campus by UB security that gave them the letters. “The shocking part is that three weeks ago, we asked them about the issue concerning our suspension but they denied it only for them to give us letters of suspension today while we are starting examinations tomorrow,” Mokotedi said.
