UB social work students donate to Camp Hill

The students made the noble gesture at the organisation's headquarters on Friday.They donated notebooks,drawing pads, pens, pencils, rubbers and sharpeners worth about P1,200. Learners at the famous hilly village facility have different forms of disability.
A representative of the UB students, Wame Baitsholedi said the donation, though little is a way of recognising the contribution of non-governmental organisations in the upbringing of children. He said as social work students, they found it fit to lend a hand, but most importantly, caring is part of their work.
Despite legislative reforms and various initiatives aimed at curbing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), the situation remains dire.
