UB murder suspect to be arraigned tomorrow

The suspect in the murder of a 47-year-old woman the University in Botswana (UB) is set to be arraigned before the Extension II Magistrate Court tomorrow at 0830am following his arrest in less than 24 hours.

Botswana Police Service (BPS) has released a statement that they have swiftly nabbed the the suspect after fleeing the scene immediately after committing the murder.

"Following the murder of a 47-year-old Motswana woman of Mokatse village that occurred at the UB yesterday morning, a 37-year-old Motswana man of the same village was arrested in Gaborone last night," BPS said in a statement.
