Triple murderer must hang - Justice Motswagole

Gothalosamang Gabaokelwe, 22, of Borolong, was on Tuesday convicted and sentenced to death in what became Justice Motswagole's first case to condemn a man to death since his recent appointment as High Court judge.

The background information before court is that Gabaokelwe, who had denied the charges, hit his girlfriend - Keneilwe Ndolo - with an iron rod on the head following a quarrel in Borolong in 2008. It is stated that in the process he hit eight-month-old Kaone Ndolo who was on her mother's back and then proceeded to hit two-year-old Ogomoditswe Ndolo, fearing she would become an orphan.
