Tonota BDP primaries target youth

FRANCISTOWN: The youth appear to be the target of the rising tempo towards the Botswana Democratic Party primaries as the date for the final draw on July 24, approaches.

Ipuseng Chikanda, a former councillor for Mathangwane, believes that he has what it takes to represent the people of Tonota North in Parliament.

Chikanda, who worked as a senior designing engineer for the Water Utilities Corporation before joining active politics, says that the constituency needs his expertise.
