Tobane murders haunt Botshabelo police

SELEBI-PHIKWE: Murder and stocktheft suspects who were out on bail have allegedly been involved in another murder that took place Sunday afternoon at Sebalo cattlepost in Tobane.

Senior superintendent Gothusamang Badubi of Botshabelo police said they received reports on Sunday afternoon that three men at a drinking spot had murdered a 32-year-old man.

She said it was reported that the three men aged between 19 and 32 years were drinking when the victim later joined them. She added that immediately a fight started whereupon the three men attacked the victim with objects within their reach. He was certified dead upon arrival at the hospital.
