Three large-scale development projects planned for Lobatse

In spatial economic terms, Lobatse’s strategic location at the regional cross-roads of the north- south Trans-Africa Highway (A1) and the east-west Trans-Kalahari Corridor (A2) gives Lobatse a number of distinct locational comparative advantages for investors.

To fully exploit Lobatse’s spatial economic advantages, on April 11, 2016 Lobatse Town Council and Cambridge Investments (Pty) Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to facilitate and fast-track three large- scale projects in Lobatse which are seen as vital to Lobatse’s economic development.
