Three Die In Sprinter-Runx Collision

Onlookers said one person died on the spot whilst two others were confirmed dead upon arrival at the Selebi-Phikwe Hospital. Serule Police Station Commander, superintendent Lesole Mosimane said the accident happened on Saturday at around 10am. He said the mini-bus was travelling to Selebi-Phikwe while the private car was coming from the Selebi-Phikwe side.
He added that their preliminary investigations reveal that the accident was caused by the driver of the private car who was overtaking, resulting in a head-on collision with the oncoming bus. “The three passengers that died were all in the Runx that was carrying five passengers.
