The Ministry of Education and Skills Development has confirmed that teachers who have not received their Levels of Operation dues should expect to be smiling all the way to the bank come month end.

Public relations officer at the Education Ministry, Silas Sehularo, said the delay in payment of all the eligible teachers was a result of discrepancies in payroll details of the officers. In addition, some officers were promoted while the implementation was in progress, which led to the payroll system receiving contradictory instructions.
