Teacher Charged With Death Threats

A Seepapitso Senior Secondary School teacher who was charged with threatening to kill his former girlfriend claimed in court on Friday that the complainant was a drug addict.

However, Latlhang denied the charges insisting that Mogapi must have been high on drugs on that day.

"That could be the reason why she made the allegations against him," he said.
Latlhang said that he called his former lover, a student at the University of Botswana (UB), saying that he heard that she was not doing well in her studies and was also travelling frequently to South Africa. He testified that he also heard that she was drinking heavily.
