The Trainers and Allied Workers Union (TAWU) has threatened legal action against the Directorate of Public Service Management (DPSM) over failure to respond to calls for salary negotiations.

Allen Keitseng, TAWU president, alleged that the DPSM is arrogantly ignoring the trade union."This is abuse of office because the DPSM is a state organ tasked with running public affairs and their lack of interest in having an audience with us is worrisome," Keitseng said.

He added that they would seek legal intervention in the not too distant future. Keitseng said he wrote to the DPSM on October 21 requesting the resumption of negotiations.  He added that he has confirmation that the DPSM has received the letter but has still not acknowledged receipt.
