Tawana in public appeal to rescue Motswaledi

The Member of Parliament for Maun West, Kgosi Tawana Moremi, has called on members of the public to contribute towards the legal fees of the interim leader of the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD), Gomolemo Motswaledi.

Tawana told Matlho-a-Phage presenter, Thebeyame Ramoroka,  last Sunday's programme that members of the public should not fold their arms and watch Motswaledi's goods auctioned when the case he lost was in their interests.

Tawana's plea comes in the wake of reports that deputy sheriffs recently attached Motswaledi's property to settle legal costs he incurred after he lost a case in which he challenged President Ian Khama's constitutional powers.
