FRANCISTOWN: An alleged cattle rustler who has two pending cases of stock theft appeared in court to face another count of stock theft.

Reuben Mogome, 35, of Borolong village is facing a charge of stealing a cow valued at P5,000 belonging to Innocent Motsu on July 6 at Gerald farms on the outskirts of Francistown. Inspector Patrick Mapodise of Tatitown police applied for a plea to be reserved in the matter because investigations are still at their initial stages, while the accused is remanded in custody.

The investigating officer, inspector Frederick Seboko of the Police Stock Theft Unit said that the accused might tamper with their investigations if he is granted bail.
