Stray cattle: GCC�s itchy sore

For motorists and residents of Gaborone, driving around the city is a tricky and irritating experience as the capital city is slowly adopting the ‘urban cattle-post’ tag. Motorists have to share the road with cattle and forced to hit the brakes time and again to let stray cattle cross the road.

A concerned motorist and a resident of Gaborone said the issue of stray livestock is a source of worry.

The motorist, who did not want her identity revealed, feels that Gaborone City Council (GCC) should do something about the cattle roaming the streets.
