Still no BGCSE results for LobSec's 11

The Botswana Examinations Council (BEC) will on June 30 reward top performing students from primary and secondary schools from around the country.

The students will get scholarships, cash prizes, laptops and vouchers.  For 11 Lobatse Senior Secondary School students, though, that can only be a dream - even if one or all of them turn out to be the best performers in the country. This is because their Botswana General Certificate in Secondary Education (BGCSE) examination results have not been released - three months after other students received theirs.

Initially all 37 students attending the double science class had not received their results. The results started trickling in after education authorities realised the blunder. The excuse they gave was that the students' results were omitted by mistake. However, three weeks into the circus, the 11 students are yet to receive their results.
