Stepdaughter 'killer' denied bail

FRANCISTOWN: Distress could easily be seen on the face of Motlatsi Khoto, who is facing charges of raping and murdering his stepdaughter when he appeared before the High Court for ruling on his bail application on Tuesday.

Khoto, 44, who was employed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (CAAB) as an air marshal allegedly murdered Metlha Sibanda, 9, on January 17, 2017 at Marobela village.

The police say that after Khoto allegedly killed Sibanda by suffocating her, he proceeded to bury her in a shallow grave at a river in Marobela.
