State Lawyer Arrested For Possession Of A �Bloody Gun�

In a rare case likely to question the integrity of those trusted to deliver justice, a prosecutor (names withheld) with the Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) has been nabbed with a gun suspected to have been used in a spate of robberies.

“The gun was found in her office on Wednesday after a tip-off from some police officers. She was then arrested and detained by Central Police Station where she is awaiting to be whisked away to Kutlwano Police Station in Francistown,” the source said.

It is however not clear how the gun got to be in the possession of the said prosecutor.
