SSG's Collude With Robbers In Choppies Heist?

Internal investigations are on-going as to whether the riot police, the SSG's who usually guard the Partial shopping complex, where a Choppies store was raided of cash, may have colluded with the robbers that night.

 

Police spokesman Dipheko Motube could not comment on Sunday saying he was out of Gaborone, however The Monitor can reveal that the incident has the police authorities concerned as they expected the SSG team, which usually guards the post, to have been there to avert any possible incident. The Choppies Partial outlet was hit around 730pm on Thursday evening, where unarmed thieves made away with cash collected from tills.
