Son on trial for mother's death

FRANCISTOWN: A 41-year-old man of Mmadinare, who allegedly shot his mother to death, has pleaded with the court to allow him to change his attorney.

The state alleges that Thuso Motimedi shot his mother, Molly Motimedi, shortly after she knocked off from her business premises at Mmadinare in 2008.

Molly was a well-known businessperson who had interests in Mmadinare and Selebi-Phikwe.
