Seretse files an application to quash charges

Businessman Bakang Seretse who is facing a total of 64 counts of corruption, and fraud charges linked to more than P31 million connected to the National Petroleum Fund (NPF) scandal has filed an application to quash the charges.

Seretse is charged alongside his associates Sharifa Noor and Alphonse Ndzinge. Their companies Kgori Capital and Kgori Holdings are listed as fourth and fifth accused in the matter.

Appearing before Regional Magistrate today for status update, State prosecutor Thabo Malambane revealed that they have received a new application from the first accused (Seretse).
