The Assistant Minister of Finance & Development Planning, Honourable Vincent Seretse, left Gaborone yesterday to attend the Ministerial Session of the African Regional Conference on Population and Development which will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from today to Friday, 4th October, 2013.

Seretse will be accompanied by the Minister of Health Dr Reverend John Seakgosing, officials from the Ministry of Finance and Development Planning, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Youth, Sport and Culture, Ministry of Education and Skills Development, Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs and two (2) Civil Society Organisations, a statement from MFDP says.

The purpose of the conference is to validate the Africa Regional Review Report and adopt a common position on the International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) beyond 2014.
