Sebele sentencing deferred to Monday

The twists and turns in the stock theft case against the former Bakwena regent and president of customary court of appeal continued as the Molepolole Magistrate postponed the sentencing yet again.

With the courtroom filled to capacity, mummers broke out when magistrate, Dumisane Basupi made the announcement that he will only pass sentence next Monday.

The public came in large numbers to get first hand information on the future of their tribal leader. Just as Basupi sneaked into the chambers, Sebele's well- wishers rushed to shake hands and chat with him before he was whisked away by the prison officials to await sentencing on Monday.
