Scouts finally oust Chief Commissioner

The Botswana Scouts Association (BSA) has finally passed a motion of no confidence on its Chief Commissioner (CC), Morgan Letsholathebe following the intervention of the Court of Appeal (CoA).

On Saturday, the Association’s members from different regions gathered at Mogoditshane Senior School for a special Annual Council Meeting (ACM) and passed the motion through a majority vote.

CoA Judge, Isaac Lesetedi, through a consent order between the Association’s members and Letsholathebe, had ordered that the special ACM be held to finally put to rest the leadership dispute that had crippled the country’s oldest surviving Association.
