Samotse Eludes Police A Year Later

FRANCISTOWN: The police have conceded that it is still difficult to locate criminal fugitive, Edwin Tefo Samotse, more than a year after he escaped from lawfully custody.

Samotse, who is wanted in connection with the murder of his girlfriend in Francistown escaped at the Nyangabwe Referral Hospital (NRH) under the custody of prison officials in October 2014. At the time he was receiving medical assistance at NRH.

Samotse’s escape was just days after South Africa (SA) had mistakenly extradited him to Botswana.
