Saleshando to address BNFYL congress :: Mmegi Online

As the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) moves closer to adding the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) to its fold, the Botswana National Front Youth League (BNFYL) has invited the BCP president Dumelang Saleshando to be the guest speaker at its forthcoming congress.

“The leadership of the BNFYL resolved unanimously that Saleshando, the president of BCP, will grace the congress as the guest speaker. The basis for inviting Saleshando as the guest speaker was informed by the prevailing political climate in which all opposition, democratic and progressive forces are forging unity to topple the BDP in 2019,” BNFYL Secretary General Arafat Khan revealed at a press briefing yesterday.

Khan said the BNF leadership had been informed about the decision of the party’s youth league to invite Saleshando; and the BCP leader had confirmed that he would grace the congress.
