Re-elected Kgatleng District Council (KDC) chairperson, Daniel Molokwe says he wants his council to be the best when it comes to service delivery. He also thanked fellow councillors for trusting in him and appreciated the cooperation they had shown him since he led them from 2019 to date.

“When this time of the year comes, we need to remind ourselves if we are still in line with our mandate when we took over council or not,” Molokwe said when delivering his acceptance speech on Friday at a council meeting in Mochudi after Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) fellows renewed his mandate.

“We have promised Bakgatla that we will give them the best service as BDP councillors when we took over and I still want to assure them that we have not changed or gone back on the promises we made. Even if we have financial constraints since COVID-19 has affected the country, we are trying our best to deliver some of the promises as a council.”
