Rapes of vulnerable people worry police

PALAPYE: Botswana Police Service commissioner, Keabetswe Makgophe has revealed that rape crime involving minor children and senior citizens has become a crisis here.

Makgophe was speaking at the handing over of 30 police houses by the Ministry of Infrastructure Science and Technology recently.

He said it was very sad when the vulnerable such as elderly people and under-aged children become victims of rape.
