Rancho wins BNF ticket for Sekoma

Robert Rancho has won the Botswana National Front’s (BNF) weekend primary election for Sekoma village and will now face off against the Botswana Democratic Party’s Case Lebotso in the March 5 by-election.

Rancho polled 258 votes in the BNF primary, beating Ditiro Melaetsa who got 188 and Segakolodi Sasheng who was third with 102.

A youthful member of the party, Rancho is also the Sekoma Village Ward Committee chairman.
