Rains: Not enough to raise alarm

Although, the southern part of the country has received good rains in recent days, there has not been any danger reported. So far, road infrastructure is the most affected, with roundabouts and major intersections flooding whenever the skies open up. Mmegi team visited four places in and around the city where it was business as usual

Lillian Tau (49) - In the past few years we were terrified by heavy rainfalls, as our yards were always flooded.  We thank God that the culverts and trenches have been built across our communities. Most of the water flows to these culverts, which has really helped us a lot as our yards no longer get affected by rain.  Though some of the water flows from the upper side of the street and gets stuck in some homes.  It is better than in 1999 when I moved here, as it was impossible to leave my house then.
